Globalsport is a brand owned by GSX Portugal Unip. Lda, responsible for promoting and holding sporting events.

Globalsport is committed to protecting the privacy of its Customers and Users of the various websites owned by the company and, in this context, has drawn up this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate its commitment and respect for the rules of privacy and protection of personal data.

Therefore, when we refer to Globalsport in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to GSX Portugal Unip. Lda. and each of the websites it owns.

DELIVERY POLICY, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The athlete has three days to make the payment by ATM reference after submitting the registration. After this deadline, if the payment has not been made, the registration will be annulled and a new registration will have to be made for the same race.

2. If the entry is submitted up to eight days before the closing date for entries, the deadline for payment will be reduced to just 24 hours.

3. In the case of payment by credit card, the registration will be automatically registered when the payment is confirmed by the VISA system.

4. After registering, the athlete is sent a proof of registration by e-mail, which allows them to collect their participation kit from the secretariat before the race.

5. The receipt will be sent to the participant no later than five days before the event.

6. By registering, the athlete assumes that they have consulted the regulations made available for the event at the time of registration.

PAYMENT METHODS

1. The invoice for participation in Globalsport events will be issued, if requested with a valid tax identification number, as soon as payment is received, and will be sent to the recipient by e-mail. If no request is made, the invoice will be issued to the end consumer.

2. Payments can be made by ATM reference or by credit card.

RETURN AND CANCELLATION POLICY

1. No refunds will be given for canceled registrations.

2. There are also no refunds in the event that athletes, for whatever reason, are unable to take part in the sporting events in which they have registered.

3. There may be specific rules for each race, according to the respective regulations, which should be consulted by the athlete.

PRIVACY POLICY

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform our Clients and Users of the general rules governing the privacy and processing of their personal data, which we collect and process in strict compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

GLOBALSPORT respects the best practices in the field of security and protection of personal data and, to this end, has approved a rigorous program capable of safeguarding the protection of the data made available to us by all those who, in some way, relate to the Company.

The rules set out in this Privacy Policy complement the provisions on the protection and processing of personal data contained in the contracts signed between Customers and GLOBALSPORT, as well as the rules set out in the Terms and Conditions governing the offer of the various products and services, duly published on the respective websites.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, because if you are accessing one of our websites, the provision of your personal data implies knowledge and acceptance of the conditions contained herein. Therefore, by providing your personal data, you are authorizing its collection, use and disclosure in accordance with the rules set out herein.

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the collection and processing of personal data carried out by GLOBALSPORT websites.

On the GLOBALSPORT Group’s websites you may find links to other websites that are unrelated to GLOBALSPORT. Such links are provided in good faith and the GLOBALSPORT Group cannot be held responsible for the collection and processing of personal data carried out on these websites, nor for the accuracy, credibility or functionalities of websites belonging to third parties.

Therefore, the provision of links to websites other than those of GLOBALSPORT does not imply any assumption of responsibility in relation to these websites, and therefore this Privacy Policy does not apply to them. PERSONAL DATA

When we refer to personal data, we mean any information of any nature and regardless of its medium, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

An identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

The entity responsible for collecting and processing personal data is GSX Portugal Unip. Lda., which provides the service and, in this context, decides which data is collected, the means of processing it and the purposes for which it is used.

As part of its activity, GLOBALSPORT collects and processes the personal data necessary to provide services and/or supply products, processing data such as name, address, telephone number, ID card number and e-mail address.

Without prejudice to compliance with legal norms relating to the conservation and transmission of data for the purposes of investigation, detection, and repression of serious crimes, GLOBALSPORT only processes traffic and location data necessary for billing Clients and paying for interconnections.

If there is prior consent from the Customer or User, which may be withdrawn at any time, GLOBALSPORT will process their traffic and location data, to the extent and for the time necessary for the marketing of electronic communications services or the provision of value-added services.

Information about your location may also be recorded and transmitted to entities with legal competence to receive emergency calls, for the purpose of responding to those calls.

WHEN AND HOW WE COLLECT YOUR DATA

GLOBALSPORT collects your data by telephone, in writing or through its websites, with your consent. As a rule, personal data is collected when the Customer subscribes to one of our products or services.

Some personal data must be provided and, if this data is missing or insufficient, GLOBALSPORT will not be able to provide the product or service in question. The company will inform customers of the compulsory nature of providing this data.

If you are not a GLOBALSPORT Client, your data will only be processed if you make it available to the Company, namely by subscribing to newsletters, in which case the rules of this Privacy Policy will apply.

The personal data collected is processed electronically and in strict compliance with personal data protection legislation, and stored in specific databases created for this purpose. Under no circumstances will the data collected be used for a purpose other than that for which consent was given by the data subject.

In general, the personal data collected is used to manage the contractual relationship, to provide the contracted services, to tailor the services to the Client’s needs and interests, for information and marketing purposes, and to include the Client on subscriber lists.

You may, however, provide us with personal data for other purposes, such as sending complaints and suggestions, disseminating institutional information about the company and/or disseminating campaigns, promotions, advertising and news about GLOBALSPORT’s products and/or services, as well as for carrying out market research and evaluation surveys.

HOW YOU CAN ACCESS, RECTIFY OR OPPOSE THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Under the terms of the Personal Data Protection Act, the data subject is guaranteed the right to access, update, rectify or delete their personal data, and can exercise these rights through the various contacts that GLOBALSPORT makes available.

HOW YOU CAN OBJECT TO RECEIVING CONTACTS FOR MARKETING PURPOSES

GLOBALSPORT may advertise new products or services to its Customers by telephone, e-mail, SMS, MMS or any other means of electronic communication, unless the Customer has objected at the time the data is collected.

If you do not wish to receive these communications, you may object at any time to the use of your data for marketing purposes, for sending informative communications or for inclusion in lists or information services.

COMMUNICATION OF DATA TO OTHER ENTITIES (THIRD PARTIES AND SUBCONTRACTORS)

As part of its activity, GLOBALSPORT may use third parties to provide certain services. Sometimes, the provision of these services implies that these entities have access to our Customers’ personal data. When this happens, GLOBALSPORT adopts the appropriate measures to ensure that the entities with access to the data are reputable and offer the highest guarantees in this field, which will be duly enshrined and safeguarded in a contract to be signed between GLOBALSPORT and the subcontractor(s).

Thus, any entity subcontracted by GLOBALSPORT will process the personal data of our Clients in the name and on behalf of GLOBALSPORT, and is obliged to adopt the technical and organizational measures necessary to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, dissemination or unauthorized access, as well as against any other form of unlawful processing.

In any case, GLOBALSPORT remains responsible for the personal data made available to it.

CIRCUMSTANCES IN WHICH WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The provision of certain services by GLOBALSPORT may involve the transfer of your personal data outside Portugal.
